When I was a teenager I collected magazine tears, anything that caught my eye would be squirreled away. I was a visual magpie!

After graduating Fashion Knitwear at Nottingham Trent University, travelling on a gap year and dipping my toes in a number of creative roles I went on to spend 8 years working as a fashion designer to many High Street brands. From that I moved to growing my own successful business; The White Emporium designing and styling weddings and events.

I have always been interested in the power of the visual image. Right from those early days of collecting magazine tears, to writing my dissertation on ‘Realism in Fashion Photography’ to my first job out of university working as a content creator for a magazine.

Working as part of a team to create beautiful imagery is where I am happiest. Of all the creative jobs I have done it is the one where I feel most energised and motivated. I am passionate about helping to create images that soothe the soul, brings warmth and arouses the senses.

My favourite work is one that feels textural and I think that is why I am passionate about food, drink and prop styling. Bringing the textures of vibrancy of food and drink to life making a 2d image feel full of depth.
